Job Title: Aerospace Safety Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Get Staffed. As an Aerospace Safety Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and implementing Health and Safety systems within the organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies: Create, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures.
  3. Review and Improve Policies: Regularly review existing policies and procedures, recommending improvements to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  4. Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are effectively communicated and adhered to across the organization.
  5. Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on health and safety matters, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and roles in maintaining a safe working environment.
  6. Investigate Accidents and Incidents: Investigate accidents and incidents, reporting findings and recommendations to improve health and safety practices.
  7. Maintain Health and Safety Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety records and documentation.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
  2. Qualifications: NEBOSH or equivalent qualification, with strong communication and leadership skills.
  3. Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
