Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Highways Technical Support Officer to join our Countywide Maintenance Team at Lancashire County Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing highway enquiries from members of the public and elected members, providing technical responses and demonstrating exceptional customer focus skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out highways site inspections to identify works for delivery within LCC policies and procedures
  • Assisting with day-to-day duties in the office, including ordering and quality checking works
  • Regularly updating live inventories and assisting technicians and engineers with other duties as required

The post is permanent and subject to a six-month probationary period. We require a supporting statement from applicants to evidence how they meet the criteria for the role.
