About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Autism Practitioner in Orkney. As an Autism Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic adults to live a full life, engage in local activities, and be part of the Orkney community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans for individuals with autism.
  • Build positive relationships with individuals, their families, and support networks.
  • Work in partnership with health professionals and stakeholders to ensure individuals' life goals and aspirations are met.
  • Enable individuals to make informed choices, participate in activities, and maintain their independence.

Requirements

We welcome applications from individuals with a passion for supporting autistic adults. While experience in social care is desirable, it is not essential. We provide excellent training and support to help you develop into the role.

As part of your role, you will be required to undertake shift work, including weekends and evenings. We encourage and welcome applications from people with lived experience of autism.
