About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy PR Account Manager to join our team at Pier, a leading integrated communications agency specializing in renewable energy and food & beverage sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing strategies and activities for our renewables clients, ensuring that programmes and objectives are being adhered to, and that their accounts are well organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to achieve client objectives
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and other key stakeholders
  • Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials
  • Plan and execute events, including press conferences, product launches, and other activations
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports to clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, providing expert advice to clients

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in renewable energy PR or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy industry and its key players
  • Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in social media and other digital platforms
