Job Summary:

Pier, a leading integrated communications agency, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renewable Energy PR Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our renewable energy team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional PR services to our clients, driving media coverage, and building strong relationships with journalists and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, securing media coverage for our clients through press releases, media alerts, and pitch stories.
  • Media Monitoring: Monitor media coverage for our clients, identifying opportunities for media engagement and providing regular media reports.
  • Content Creation: Write high-quality press releases, media alerts, and pitch stories that meet our clients' needs and objectives.
  • Event Management: Assist in the organization and execution of events, including press conferences, product launches, and other stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored PR solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our clients' objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in PR, communications, or a related field, with a focus on renewable energy or a related sector.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write high-quality content and pitch stories. Strong media relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key media contacts. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
