Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and flexible Supply Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support in primary schools across Portsmouth.

  • You will provide academic support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

  • Assist with classroom organization, prepare materials, and maintain a safe and inclusive learning space.
  • Promote student well-being and support social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Be adaptable and flexible, responding to changing circumstances and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • You should possess strong communication skills, be proactive, and able to build positive relationships with children and staff.
  • A DBS check or willingness to undergo one is required.
