In collaboration with the CFO, you will serve as an outstanding accountant, possessing commercial awareness and the capability to advise on optimal growth strategies for the organization. As an experienced Financial Controller, you will assume full responsibility for generating monthly management accounts for all relevant regions (in coordination with outsourced accountants), year-end accounts/audit, statutory reporting (including payroll taxes, VAT, etc.), cash flow forecasts, budgeting, managing working capital, and reporting on actuals versus budget/forecast along with variance analysis and project profitability. You will also be responsible for reporting results to the Group.

Key Responsibilities as our Financial Controller (Nordics):


• Take full responsibility for the preparation and production of the consolidated division's accounts.

• Prepare and consolidate monthly board packs.

• Lead initiatives to develop more informative Monthly Group Management Information.

• Oversee the financial aspects of strategic projects aimed at fostering organizational growth.

• Stay informed about new initiatives, legislation, and modern practices in financial management.

• Plan and prepare financial management documents, including financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.

• Implement and enhance Finance Team operating procedures.

• Ensure all company financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.

• Manage the group budgeting process, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

• Assume ultimate responsibility for company cash management policies.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies.

• Manage the finance function and team.

• Serve as the principal point of contact for external auditors and banks.

Desired Qualifications for our Financial Controller (Nordics):

Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification Extensive experience in invoice finance Commercially astute, articulate, technically proficient, and dynamic, with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. Exceptional communication skills across all levels Strong IT capabilities Ability to manage high-pressure situations and make critical decisions. High integrity and transparency, combined with a commitment to good governance. Energetic, highly motivated, with a passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
