This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with early years children with complex needs in community settings, as well as being part of the under 5s Autism Diagnostic Team.
Main ResponsibilitiesProvide a speech and language therapy service to children with complex speech, language, and communication needs, including independent assessment and treatment, and developing and implementing specialist programmes of care and treatment.
Deliver a speech and language therapy service for children with complex needs in identified localities within the communities of Bassetlaw.
Be an integral part of the Child Development Centre MDT, working closely with paediatric teams.
Be part of the Autism diagnostic pathway in Bassetlaw.

Requirements- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including observation, listening, and empathy.

- Ability to work in a team, with knowledge of clinical governance and audit principles.
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills, with a car driver's license.
- Professional specific degree in Speech Sciences or Medical Sciences, with membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Completion of the RCSLT Newly Qualified Practitioner Goals and registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
- Evidence of successful completion of specialist short courses in relevant specialism.
