Our client, a well-established company based in the outskirts of Melton Mowbray, is seeking a skilled HGV / Plant Fitter to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role:- Carry out vehicle maintenance, including servicing, inspections, defect repairs, MOT preparations, and breakdowns, as well as any other work requested by the Manager.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and be able to understand instructions given by the Manager.
- Experience working on HGV and Plant vehicles.
- Experience in the use of diagnostics equipment or the ability to learn.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Understanding of MOT standards and legal compliance.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- HGV licence Class 2/1.
- Experience with vehicle or plant electrical systems.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
