HGV Mechanic

Our client, a reputable company based in the Melton Mowbray area, is seeking a skilled HGV/Plant Fitter to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role:
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance, including servicing, inspections, defect repairs, MOT preparations, and breakdowns, as well as any other work requested by the Manager.
- Must be able to demonstrate good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with the Manager to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HGV/Plant Fitting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
