About the Business:

A leading international organisation is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their UK team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the UK organisation, while being part of a dynamic international Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key support to local Executive teams, ensuring accurate consolidated reporting for Group level requirements. Close cooperation with the Financial Shared Service Centre, stakeholders, senior management, audit teams, finance partners, and the European Group Finance team will be essential.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Developing and maintaining a suite of financial KPIs to support commercial operations

* Providing insightful analysis of financial data to local and group leadership

* Responsible for the monthly closing process in line with IFRS and local GAAP

* Preparing and filing local annual accounts, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines

* Reconciliation of transactional data and management reporting with full balance sheet analysis

* Preparing and filing local tax declarations (corporate and others)

* Leading ad hoc financial and commercial projects

* Direct and indirect management of a small but professional UK Finance team

About You:

* You will be a qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) accountant with a strong technical grounding

* Experience of reporting within an international organisation would be advantageous

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

* Well-developed stakeholder management skills

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel and Visual Basic), SAP, and SAGE

* Ability to improve and implement enhanced processes and controls

* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving experience

* Detail-oriented, organised, and accurate

Benefits:
