Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons, utilizing strong knowledge of the curriculum.

  • Collaborate with staff members, both within the department and throughout the school, to achieve common goals.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student development.
  • Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and implement them reliably.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Media Studies Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A relevant Media Studies-related degree is desirable.
