Job Title: Lead Commissioning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Lead Commissioning Manager to join our team at Sygna, a leading Commissioning Management and Technical Services consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution of Commissioning Management on one or more projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-functioning spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operations and finances of projects under your control, maintaining a good relationship with key stakeholders and promoting Sygna's services.
  • Ensure total completion of projects in line with client expectations, adhering to Sygna's H&S standards and promoting excellent practices.
  • Develop and maintain a capability to deliver 3-4 concurrent projects, assisting the Divisional Director with bidding for new opportunities and providing technical and schedule input to the bid document.
  • Provide regular project progress reporting to the SMT, detailing key project risks, potential opportunities to increase project margins, and accurate project progress.
Project Related Information:
  • Update the 'Delivery Tracker' with fortnightly/monthly updates to the Divisional Director, ensuring the project scope, fee, and deliverables are followed.
  • Attend and chair meetings with the Client's commissioning management representative, sub-contractor/specialist contractors commissioning management team, and other team members.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of the commissioning plan, compiling and issuing a weekly progress report to clients and advising on programming commissioning related items.
  • Assist the Divisional Director in recruitment within the sector, ensuring compliance with Sygna's H&S standards on all projects.
Financial:
  • Assist the Divisional Director in achieving forward order booking to ensure a sustainable business, being aware of the Minimum Gross Margin on all projects.
  • Continuously maximize opportunities and minimize risks on all projects, ensuring proper order placement of all subcontractors in accordance with company procedures and best practice.
  • Maintain a relationship with all external consultants/Clients for future win work opportunities, highlighting any risk before it occurs wherever possible to the Divisional Director.
