Job Overview

The role of Public Relations Manager at ING involves identifying trends and news opportunities, particularly related to our sustainability ambitions and sector approach. This includes writing internal briefings, making press analyses, and creating bulletins, statements, and scenarios. As a key member of the Communications and Brand Experience team, you will work closely with the UK and Middle East business to ensure messages are consistent with ING's global positioning and standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate PR efforts within area of responsibility, including social channels.
  • Maintain and promote policies and guidelines.
  • Coordinate and prepare general and specific media training programmes.
  • Negotiate with journalists on conditions for interviews and negotiate with photo and film crews about recordings in company buildings.
  • Foster cross-border collaboration with peers across our international network.

Candidate Requirements

An ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will possess strong communications skills, flexibility, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.


Estimated Salary Range: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum
