About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data & Monitoring Coordinator to join our team at Amazon.

As a member of our Corporate Communications team, you will be responsible for monitoring online news and forums, identifying notable stories or posts, and managing Amazon's general public relations email account.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional communications or public relations, with experience using media monitoring/intelligence tools and advanced search techniques.

You will also need to be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor online news and forums for relevant stories or posts
  • Identify notable stories or posts and manage Amazon's general public relations email account
  • Develop and implement PR strategies with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in professional communications or public relations
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Proficiency in media monitoring/intelligence tools (e.g. Cision, Meltwater, Talkwalker)

Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
