Job Description

**Deliver an Enriching Activities Programme**

We are seeking an experienced Activities Therapist to coordinate and deliver a programme of social activities for our residents in Brooklands Care Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for our residents throughout the year
  • Activities should be person centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across a broad spectrum of activities including but not limited to; beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre
  • Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards
  • Fundraising will be required and therefore previous experience will be an advantage
  • Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one activities are provided to our residents

About the Role:

We need someone who will be able to provide social activities to our residents in either a group situation or on a one to one basis. Previous experience of delivery activities within a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
