We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Administration Specialist to join our Gastroenterology Department. This role involves supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Gastroenterology Consultants, Nurses and Registrars to provide high-quality services to patients. The estimated salary for this role is around £28,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks, including posting blood request forms, prescriptions and stool pots for testing.
  • Coordinating virtual consultations for consultants to review patient test results, providing necessary information.
  • Verifying patients on the RTT pathway and ensuring all actions are completed as required.
  • Supporting the Gastroenterology Vetting Co-ordinator with administrative tasks, including compiling referrals and emailing consultants.
  • Managing general office duties such as filing, photocopying and sorting post.
