Job Title: SEND Teaching Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate SEND teaching professional to join our team of specialists in Lincoln. As a SEND teaching specialist, you will be responsible for leading alongside experienced SEND TAs in supporting pupils to overcome their barriers to learning and help them make accelerated progress.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, good emotional literacy, and the ability to remain resilient in challenging environments. They will be passionate about working with children with SEND and committed to developing the potential of pupils of all needs and abilities.

A competitive salary of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, is available for this role. In addition to a comprehensive induction program and ongoing professional development opportunities, we offer a supportive staff team and access to an Occupational Health Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead alongside experienced SEND TAs in supporting pupils to overcome their barriers to learning
  • To plan and deliver high-quality interventions to support pupils to achieve their targets set out in their EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan)
  • To support the behaviour management of the classroom, following the school's behavior management policy
  • To follow the school's safeguarding policies and ensure any safeguarding concerns are reported using the school's referral procedures
