International Events Assistant


We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented event planning assistant to join our team at William Reed Ltd.


The right candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of international business summits, including venue sourcing, client liaison, and event management.
  • Support the business development team with client liaison, chasing in logos and corporate profiles, and registering delegates and guests.
  • Manage the registration site for each summit, processing new registrations, updating details where needed, and pulling regular reports and data.
  • Pull post-event analytics from the summit platform to support the business development team with client reports.
  • Assist in the set-up of the virtual event platform and 1-1 meeting software and keep this up to date in the run up to and during the summit.

Requirements:



  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise a variety of tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellence in using Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivation and organisational skills, with an ability to work to deadlines.
  • Experience using Cvent and Swapcard is desirable but not essential.
