We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our award-winning team and contribute to the well-being of our residents.
About the RoleAs a Personal Care Specialist, your primary focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring continuity of services to residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with their personal hygiene needs, recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas, and acting courteously towards residents and visitors.
We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including comprehensive training, opportunities for career development, and access to leisure and retail discounts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with their personal hygiene needs, promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Recognize and understand clinical risk areas in residents, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and risk of falls, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
To succeed in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required, as we provide a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence within the role.
