This is an exciting opportunity for a Highways Compliance Specialist to join a client in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all streetworks and road works are compliant with the requirements of the NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act 2004, while causing minimal disruption to the community.



Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of NRSWA and TMA legislation, as well as relevant qualifications in the field. Previous experience in Highways and Streetworks is essential for this role. You will be responsible for:





  • Assisting in the management and inspections of streetworks and road works throughout the area

  • Ensuring all streetworks and road works comply with the requirements of the NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act 2004

  • Assessing and granting streetworks permits

  • Assisting with the co-ordination of highway related work



The salary for this position is £32-£34 per hour, plus expenses, negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available, and the company is open to discussing the role further with the right candidate.



Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:





  • A good working knowledge of NRSWA and TMA legislation

  • Relevant qualifications in the field

  • Previous experience in Highways and Streetworks
