Salary: up to £45,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities- Yard Organization and Management: Oversee the efficient organization and management of the yard, ensuring all scaffolding materials and equipment are stored safely and correctly.
- Scaffolding Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of scaffolding equipment, identifying and reporting any damage or wear.
- Inventory Management: Accurately record and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely loading and unloading of materials from delivery vehicles.
- Project Preparation: Prepare and dispatch materials for scaffolding projects in a timely manner, adhering to project schedules and deadlines.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- General Yard Duties: Perform general yard duties to support overall operations, including operating forklifts and other yard equipment as required.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the scaffolding industry, with a strong understanding of industry practices and regulations.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment, with relevant certifications and training.
- Physical Demands: Good physical condition, capable of lifting and moving heavy materials, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and Communication: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and guidelines, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
