Job Description:

About the Position:

We are seeking a Young People's Services Manager to join our team at Everton Football Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of services that support young people in our local communities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people who display challenging behavior and have or are at risk of being criminally exploited. They will also possess relevant qualifications in youth work or community development, as well as mentoring and coaching skills.

The role requires a flexible approach to working unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be based across our Everton in the Community campus and will report directly to the Senior Co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of services that support young people in our local communities
  • Manage a team of staff and volunteers to deliver targeted workshops and activities
  • Collaborate with families and other stakeholders to assess needs and provide necessary support

Safeguarding:

  • Understand and adhere to the club's safeguarding policy and procedures
  • Ensure safe working practices and contribute positively to an anti-bullying environment

Requirements:

  • VQR/NVQ Level 2 in Youth Work or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Relevant mentoring qualifications
  • Experience of delivering in schools and educational establishments
  • A good understanding of confidentiality and maintaining boundaries when working with young people

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
