Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team at our Head office in North Tawton.

The role of Accounts Payable Assistant involves:

  • Matching purchase invoices to receipted orders within our DB Capture software.
  • Liaising with the wider business to resolve any price queries/discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions.
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile purchase invoices.
  • Verify and match purchase orders with receipted orders.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or queries with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of transactions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in DB Capture software or similar accounting systems.
