This is an exciting time to be part of Gü Desserts' growth journey as a Process Technologist. Our company is expanding its site with an additional production line, creating new opportunities in the team.

As a Process Technologist, your primary goal is to collaborate with the Continuous Improvement and Operations teams to execute projects that enhance cost efficiency and optimize processes while maintaining product safety and quality.

The Role

  • Plan and execute projects in seamless collaboration with supply chain, planning, technical, and operations teams, embodying a considerate and collaborative approach.
  • Energetically contribute to developing new, optimized processes, maintaining top-tier standards.
  • Oversee equipment design, installation, commissioning, and validation, showcasing unwavering accountability and expertise.
  • Collect and analyze data to power efficiency initiatives, embodying an energetic commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Support operations and collaborate with Process Controllers in savvy problem-solving and fault-finding, demonstrating an accountable and energetic approach.
  • Actively shape the strategic vision of continuous improvement, perfectly aligned with organizational goals and values.
  • Champion efficiency initiatives, striving for operational excellence and making a significant impact on the organization's overall success.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Excel in collaboration, driving projects with Continuous Improvement and Operations teams for enhanced efficiency and process optimization.
  • Pioneer innovative solutions, applying expertise to existing processes and products, bringing innovation to Operational Excellence Projects.
  • Be a meticulous planner.
  • Energetically contribute to new process development.
  • Play a crucial role in equipment design and installation, ensuring accountability during commissioning and validation of new equipment.
  • Be data-driven with excellent Excel skills.
  • Adapt to dynamic project demands, undertaking any activities with a pioneering and energetic mindset.
  • Ideal candidates hold an industry-related degree such as food science, food nutrition, chemistry, microbiology, or engineering.
  • Have experienced diverse career paths, such as starting as a Product Launch Technologist or transitioning from a project-focused engineering role.
  • Bring relevant food manufacturing knowledge/experience, particularly advantageous in handling chilled food products in a development capacity.

About Gü Desserts

We are the original pud pioneers. Since 2003, we've been filling homes with ramekins of restaurant-quality, wickedly indulgent desserts.

Our talented pâtisserie chefs have made every single pud in our very own kitchens, using only the most decadent ingredients. We now have a range that includes Cheesecakes (some of which also come Free-from), Hot Puds, Mousses, and our new lower-calorie Lights range, all of which come in our packaging that is fully recyclable.

We know many of you love to keep the ramekins and re-use them at home. If you're ever wondering if a Salted Caramel Cheesecake is acceptable at 11 am, just know that somewhere, somebody is tucking into a Gü every single second.
