About the Role:

The Shared Services Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Capital Programme PMO Senior Officer to drive forward our ambitious capital programme. As a key member of our team, you will lead a robust Project and Programme Management Office (PMO) function, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our capital projects.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire project lifecycle, providing strategic leadership and support to project teams, developing and implementing effective project management methodologies and tools, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will also be responsible for producing regular performance reports and identifying potential risks and issues, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to achieve programme objectives.

About You:

You'll already have significant experience leading and managing project and programme management offices, with a proven track record in delivering improvement in complex capital programmes. You'll have a deep understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and financial control, with the professional qualifications to match.

You will know how to develop and implement effective PMO solutions, produce comprehensive reports, and provide strategic leadership. With an in-depth knowledge of project lifecycle management and governance frameworks, you'll be adept at managing stakeholder relationships and driving project delivery.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential in this role, and you'll be self-motivated and confident enough to work independently whilst being a part of a high-performing team.
