Job Overview:

XDS Oxford is a leading organization in the field of precision engineering. We are currently seeking a Precision Engineering Technologist to join our team.

  1. Design and develop innovative solutions for our clients using precision engineering principles.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with project requirements.
  3. Implement design management systems to track and manage design processes.
  4. Develop manufacturing information packs for production teams.
  5. Promote design excellence by applying best practices and industry standards.
  6. Support procurement and manufacturing teams during project execution.

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of precision engineering principles and their application in beamline systems or similar industries.
  2. Familiarity with Solid Edge software and design management systems.
  3. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  4. Awareness of health and safety regulations and quality systems.
  5. Degree in Design or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
