Job Summary:

The Precision Machining Specialist will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components using Fanuc controls. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Programming:

  • Write and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to create complex parts and components.

Setup:

  • Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials and conducting test runs to ensure proper machine operation.

Operation:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality.

Quality Control:

  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, machine settings, and production runs.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineers and machinists to evaluate project requirements and resolve any issues related to machine setup and program performance.

Safety:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer Operator.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and a solid understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
