About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in Chorley Tesco Extra. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing toy department, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and handling deliveries to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
  • Replenishing stock, maintaining pricing, and implementing promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering toy-related questions, and making recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, share knowledge, and support each other in achieving our goals.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 7pm, with varying shift patterns and overtime opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and take pride in your work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use company systems and tools.
