About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Forensic/Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Forensic Team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Highly Specialist Clinical/Forensic Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists to provide psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with mental health disorders and offending behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans for individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide expert consultation and support to other team members on risk assessment, trauma-informed care, and psychologically informed interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research and service evaluation projects to improve mental health services and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Professional Doctorate in Clinical or Forensic Psychology, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist (forensic or clinical).
  • Experience of working clinically with adults in forensic services, including those with personality disorder, mental ill health, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of psychometric theory and practice, as well as relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act and criminal justice policies.
