About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Catering Assistant to join our team at Deerswood Lodge, a highly valued provider of care. As a Catering Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Cook to ensure that delicious home-cooked meals are prepared and served to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the chef with food preparation and independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents.
  • Load and unload the dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for the dishwasher, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors, clear tea trolleys, and empty kitchen rubbish.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations.
