About the Role

We are seeking a Bank Catering Assistant to join our team at Deerswood Lodge. As a key member of our catering team, you will work under the direction of the Cook to prepare and serve delicious home-cooked meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the chef with food preparation and presentation
  • Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents
  • Load and unload the dishwasher, wash up equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Collect and distribute crockery, clear tea trolleys, and empty kitchen rubbish
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations

We provide full training, including our leadership program, to support your development and opportunities for progression within Shaw. Our employees are valued and rewarded for their hard work, with a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour.

Working Hours

This is a bank 0 hour contract, working as and when required.
