Job Title: Bank Catering Assistant

Job Summary: Shaw healthcare is seeking a Bank Catering Assistant to join the team at Deerswood Lodge. As a key member of the catering team, you will work under the direction of the Cook to ensure that delicious home-cooked meals are prepared and served to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the chef with food preparation and cooking
  • Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents
  • Load and unload the dishwasher, wash up equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors
  • Clear tea trolleys and empty kitchen rubbish
  • Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations
