Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team at Reed. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our shared service team and contributing to the maintenance of our HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Documentation: Create various HR-related documents, including letters and case packs, and administer HR documentation such as invitations, maternity/paternity letters, etc.
  • HR Filing Systems: Maintain the HR filing systems and ensure they are up to date.
  • Meetings and Queries: Schedule meetings and answer HR-related queries.
  • HR Trackers: Maintain and update HR trackers.
  • General HR Advice: Provide general HR advice to support our Management Teams.
  • Reports: Produce weekly and monthly reports.
  • Employee Relations: Assist with ER issues of low-level complexity, including absence, disciplinary, and grievance matters.
  • Employee Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including the induction process.

Requirements:

  • HR Experience: Experience working in an HR environment or relevant HR qualifications (CIPD desirable but not essential).
  • Communication Skills: Confident communicator able to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other IT skills.
  • Employee Records: Experience in maintaining employee records/files.
  • Employment Law: Knowledge of current Employment Law.
