Location: Coventry (on-site)

Salary: per hour plus uncapped commissions

Job Summary:

United Kingdom Education Centre is seeking a dynamic and highly driven individual to join our team as an International Education Consultant in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting international education and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Share responsibility for the recruitment of international students and assist the team to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Plan and execute recruitment and marketing activities to promote our services and achieve targets.
  • Deal with student enquiries and provide professional consultation services to students.
  • Liaise with universities and students to track applications, arrange interviews, and field general or specific enquiries.
  • Visit students off-site for counselling and information sessions, distribute leaflets, and participate in recruitment events.
  • Be available for ad hoc and regular company training and deliver information sessions at company meetings.
  • Maintain good communication with colleagues and keep the centre manager informed of application statuses or problems.

Requirements:

  • University degree in any discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent sales skills.
  • Strong direct marketing skills.
  • Strong sense of market knowledge.
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Responsibility, maturity, reliability, and honesty.
  • Commitment to teamwork and ability to work individually with minimum supervision.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Network or customer base in the local international student community would be an advantage.
  • Permission to work in the UK by the start of employment.
