Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Neonatal or Paediatric nursing and be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients and support to relatives in a family-centred approach.
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized programs of care to children and young people in partnership with the patient, their carers, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Support and assist in the health education of patients and their families.
  • Ensure care is delivered in accordance with the latest evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive records of care in accordance with NMC, Trust, and legal requirements.
  • Participate in research and audit within the unit.
  • Ensure that all Trust and local policies, protocols, and procedures are adhered to by colleagues as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) or RN Child/Adult Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
  • Experience in Neonatal or Paediatric nursing.
