Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (flexibility required for long days, nights, & weekends)

Our client, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated Paediatric Staff Nurse to join their team at one of their specialist facilities in London. As a Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to patients with complex medical needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience working in a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
