Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to lead the delivery of our work within the Transforming Humanitarian Energy Access (THEA) programme. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to support refugee-led clean energy initiatives, implement projects, and secure follow-on funding.

About the Role

The consultant will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of projects involving multiple colleagues and external consultants and stakeholders
  • Working with refugee-led organizations to implement clean energy initiatives
  • Identifying and pursuing new sources of finance, including grants and investment
  • Developing and strengthening relationships with existing and new funders and investors
  • Supporting the development of organizational policies and procedures to prepare organizations to access new sources of finance
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced consultant with a strong background in energy access, humanitarian work, and project management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least three years' experience managing multi-donor projects in the humanitarian and/or energy access sectors
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of community-led renewable energy project implementation
  • Experience of planning and delivering events both in person and online
