Job Title: Care Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Specialist to join our team at City and County Healthcare Group Ltd. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting a client with a Spinal Cord Injury to lead an active and independent life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the client on holidays in the UK and potentially abroad, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Support the client in their own home, working alongside a small friendly team to enable them to pursue their weekly exercise schedule, including swimming, hand-cycling, gym workouts, and yoga.
  • Assist the client with their hobbies, such as gardening, looking after pets, trips to the cinema, theatre, and socializing.
  • Provide general support and assistance with daily living tasks, as needed.

  • Be a person who cares about others, is honest, trustworthy, reliable, and flexible.
  • Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to the client's needs.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
