Business Development Manager

Home / Field-based in the Southeast, with occasional visits to our client's office

£38,000 - £45,000 basic with a £500 per month car allowance and a competitive OTE reward package

Our client, a leading estate administration business, aims to be the most successful and respected in the UK. Founded in 2002, they specialize in estate administration, with a clear vision to be the go-to service provider for bereaved families. They prioritize transparent and fair pricing, with customers at the heart of their operations.

They add value to their partners' business propositions and provide innovative, customer-focused services. Their business partners include Will Writers, Financial Advisers, Financial Corporates, Funeral Directors, Accountants, Employee Benefits Providers, and Solicitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Manage existing relationships and represent the business at events
  • Deliver against set targets and measurements
  • Work with partners to increase sales performance and drive revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Ensure timely and successful service delivery, maximizing opportunities while maintaining quality and customer service
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve day-to-day issues

Requirements

  • Proven track record in field-based sales, business development, and account management
  • Significant experience presenting propositions to different audiences in a professional industry environment
  • Self-motivated and resilient, with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • B2B development experience in Financial Services or Legal Services Industry (desirable)
  • Expert knowledge of estate administration, probate, or wills and trusts (desirable)
