Job Overview
Crop science organisation Niab seeks a Trainee Technician in the Pathology team to support UK arable farming through contract work and commercial trials. The role is based in state-of-the-art facilities at Niab Park Farm, with a chance to play a pivotal role in advancing crop cultivation science.

Main Responsibilities
• Setting up pathology trials
• Applying pathogen inoculum
• Assessing disease data
• Contributing to research projects
• Maintaining lab equipment

Requirements
• Formal qualification in crop sciences/agronomy
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience with plant pathology and culturing
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications

Estimated Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
