Junior Field Service Engineer (Solar)

Bristol - Commutable from Bath, Swindon, Weston-super-Mare

Are you an early-stage electrical professional looking to gain experience in the solar sector?

Do you want a Monday - Friday work schedule with optional overtime and a great work-life balance?

This company provides specialist operations and maintenance to solar farms across Europe. Their portfolio has continued to grow and is expecting to consistently expand over the coming years, requiring highly qualified individuals to continue providing an industry-leading service.

In this role, you will be completing basic on-site activities alongside experienced field service engineers. These include visual inspection of solar assets, meter readings and maintenance, corrective measures, and stock management to ensure full operational capacity of on-site PV systems.

The ideal candidate will have basic electrical knowledge and a clean UK driving licence.

The Role:
  1. Visual inspection activities, cleaning, and reporting to the main team
  2. Routine maintenance activities on module mounting systems, fence and gates, inverters, and transformer stations
  3. Corrective measures as a first responder to help identify issues on PV systems
The Person:
  1. Basic electrical experience
  2. NVQ Level 1 or 2 (desirable)
  3. Clean UK driving licence
