Job Overview

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Payroll and HR Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing effective payroll cover and HR control within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll on a weekly and monthly basis, including preparation and verification of timesheets and actual payment processing in Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Administer all pension scheme processes weekly.
  • Manage the annual leave system continuously.
  • Upload weekly rotas into our time and attendance system.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all recruitment and selection activities, including advertising, processing applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Manage HR-related administrative tasks such as filing, shredding, faxing, and scanning, adhering to legislation including Data Protection.
  • Update company handbook and policies with the support of external legal professionals.
  • Assist line managers with performance-related matters, including annual performance reviews.

This is a challenging and varied role that requires strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel, and previous payroll experience. A minimum of 2 years in a similar HR supportive role is required.
