Job Description

Astera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Product Designer to join our team in London. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and user-centric design solutions that meet the needs of our clients and drive business success.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design strategies and solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Design and deliver high-quality digital products that meet user needs and exceed business expectations.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our designs are innovative and effective.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in digital product design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing experience with design systems, component libraries, and user research.
  • High proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with experience in After Effects and Lottie Animations a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate design decisions to team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and inclusion.
  • Experience working with project management software like Asana or Jira, and knowledge of the agile process.
