HR Administrative Assistant - Apprentice

The HR Administrative Assistant - Apprentice will provide administrative support to the HR team in the UK & Europe. This role has a UK and European remit with exposure to a broad range of HR topics. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the HR team in dealing with internal and external queries and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in managing and maintaining accurate data on the HR Information System, PeopleHR.
  2. Co-ordinate administration of onboarding and induction for new starters, including drafting of offer letters and employment agreements.
  3. Co-ordinate administration of offboarding and other changes to employment terms.
  4. Support the recruitment process including scheduling interviews and ensuring JDs are up to date on the website and intranet.
  5. Manage the HR invoicing process.
  6. Coordinate supplier onboarding and manage supplier data in accordance with GDPR.
  7. Assist in the administration of personnel files, compliance trackers and general HR documentation on Sharepoint whilst ensuring GDPR compliance.
  8. Assist in payroll and benefits administration.
  9. Support HR projects including coordinating scheduling event dates, email group creation etc.
  10. Other ad hoc HR tasks.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree or a number of years experience in a corporate administration role.
  2. Strong administration and organisational skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  3. Strong interest in HR.
  4. A strong work ethic, flexible depending on business needs and an ability to keep track of deadlines.
  5. Ability to handle confidential data professionally and with discretion.
