School Caretaker Opportunity in Surrey

Engage Education Services is seeking an experienced School Caretaker to join our team in Reigate, Surrey. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school campus.

About the Role

As a School Caretaker, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Dusting and wiping down surfaces
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
  • Emptying trash cans and replacing liners
  • Replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
  • Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
  • Following cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
  • Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

This is a full-time, temporary-permanent role with a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

About You

  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a school setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment
