Job Overview:

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MBT Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or Psychotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and treatments to patients with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy, to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to psychological services.

Requirements:

  • Registered MBT Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or Psychotherapist with a recognized professional body.
  • Postgraduate qualification in MBT Clinical or Counselling Psychology or Psychotherapy.
  • Experience working with patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
