Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Thatcham area. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychology services to adults of working age with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deputise for the Lead Psychologist in their absence, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  2. Contribute to service development, driving innovation and improvement.
  3. Conduct comprehensive assessments, write reports, and facilitate multi-professional reviews.
  4. Lead and manage a team of psychologists, providing guidance and support.
  5. Deliver high-quality clinical supervision and support to team members.
  6. Provide evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions.
  7. Adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of care.
  8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote the wellbeing and best interests of service users.
Essential Criteria:
  1. Hold a BPS-recognised psychology degree.
  2. Be registered with the UK HCPC.
  3. Have Chartered Psychologist status and relevant post-graduate qualifications.
  4. Be an approved supervisor within the BPS guidelines.
  5. Have a strong understanding of evidence-based psychological practice.
  6. Have experience working with clients with cognitive deficits and in Learning Disabilities and Autism settings.
  7. Have a track record of conducting research and project work.
