About the Opportunity

Avantor is seeking a seasoned professional to drive exceptional growth for its range of self-manufactured and private label LCMS separations products, including chromatography columns and solvents. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of market trends, competitors, and go-to-market channels to drive above-market growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute product plans to achieve financial targets and drive portfolio growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development aligns with market needs and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for innovation and new product introductions.
  • Manage daily tasks through the matrix structure to grow assigned products and achieve goals.
  • Contribute to corporate objectives and inspire best-in-class behaviors.
  • Execute defined product plans and contribute to market research to ensure viable products and balanced growth.
  • Maintain oversight of product from concept stage to market launch for assigned products.
  • Document product requirements and roadmaps for execution and sales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development and maximize product impact by foreseeing customer demands.
  • Drive a robust pipeline of market-relevant, consumer-needs-driven, science-based innovation.
  • Develop compelling global consumer connections and actively work to monitor the health of the respective business area.
  • Communicate effectively, analyze data from numerous inputs, and respond positively to direction and guidance from Portfolio Management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in product development, portfolio growth, or market expansion.
  • Knowledge of the scientific application of LCMS and related techniques.
  • Experience working internationally across cultures.
  • Fluent in oral and written English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrable technical experience in the field of expertise.
  • Demonstrable success in making high-value consumer connections.
  • Demonstrable success introducing countermeasures for complex customer problems.
  • Exceptional communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization, integrating complex multifunctional efforts crossing multiple business areas.
  • Proficiency in Power BI/SAP/MS office, strong Excel skills.
