Teaching Assistant Role in Richmond Upon Thames

We are recruiting for a highly motivated and organized teaching assistant to join our team at a primary school in Richmond Upon Thames, London. The role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on students' lives.

About the School:

The school is a two-form entry primary school that requires support in Key Stage 1 (KS1). The pupils are enthusiastic and eager to learn, making it an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their skills as a teaching assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Assist with planning and preparation of educational materials
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £90-£95 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we can provide training support for those who require assistance with the KS1 curriculum.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum (based on 40 hours/week)

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a genuine interest in education and a valid DBS certificate (or be willing to process one). A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum would be beneficial, but not essential as training can be provided.
